Day 1

Morning arrival to Domodossola and meeting with our guides. Walk around
the city of Domodossola to delight the eyes and the palate; visit and tasting of artisan chocolate in a workshop of the city (Piedmont excellence) and continue along the streets of the pedestrian historic centre of Domodossola with its many stories and curiosities.
Set off to discover the tastes of Ossola crossing various villages with its stone houses. Along the route, tasting of rigorously local wines and products, directly from the producer. Typical lunch in the area. In the afternoon, reach the town of Vogogna, also called “flower of stone” and awarded among “the most beautiful villages in Italy”.
We will walk through the small village which has remained intact over the centuries with its arcades and the Praetorian Palace, to terminate with the magnificent medieval Castle, which hosts a special collection of tin soldiers, an exhibition dedicated to the wolf and a very accurate reconstruction of ancient objects and weapons. Accommodation in rooms booked in the chosen hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast and cycling route from Vogogna to Formazza. 60km of different cultures and other eras that will be discovered,
pedal by pedal, throughout the valleys. Roads that wind between ancient connecting trails like those of the Walser and the
well-known GTA. Trails, which in the past, connected the different valleys to other lands and to important medieval capitals. On arrival,
lunch in a typical restaurant, time for a little relaxation and continue to the heart of Val Formazza, immersed in the Lepontine Alps, which group together old farming settlements with small centres like Ponte, Canza, Riale scattered
along the valley telling the story
of the Walser (population of Germanic origin). In these enchanting places we will discover the famous Cascata del Toce, considered one
of the most spectacular waterfalls of the Alps. Dinner and overnight accommodation in Hotel in Riale to enjoy the Walser atmosphere.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will descend valleyward to reach the spa facilities of Premia to enjoy the hot spa water. Excellent for relaxing
the muscles and re-energising with mineral salts which are found in these fantastic therapeutic waters. For those who wish to do so, the facility also offers a Turkish bath, various types of saunas, emotional showers, or
a lovely massage, for total wellness. Possibility to eat at the Bar-restaurant of the spa facility.
Possibility to visit the town of Acqua: Crodo and its Spa Park. The facility is in Bagni di Crodo at the mouth of the Antigioro valley and hosts the salon which dispenses water managed by Unione Montana Alta Ossola. At the salon, it is possible to taste Crodo water for free,
paying just 1 euro of deposit for the glass. Before returning to the places of origin, the visit and artisan workshop of Erba Bona,
realised by several women of Valle Divero, will give the opportunity to get to know functions and curiosities on medicinal herbs and purchase
organic products such as herbal teas, liquors,
preparations and more.
