The knowledge of a territory also starts with the knowledge of its traditional dishes and the ingredients used to make them. The traditional cuisine of Monferrato, with its recipes handed down through the generations and its unique flavours, is heritage to discover for an in-depth knowledge of the culture of these lands.

In the heart of Monferrato UNESCO, you will take part in a cooking lesson participating directly in the preparation of the traditional recipes in a home restaurant: under the guidance of an expert chef, between the walls of her welcoming home, you will learn the secrets of the perfect tagliolini or other local dishes. At the end, once the “commis” chef apron is off, enjoy the dishes skilfully prepared for you.

A delicious food experience will end the day, exploring the incredible world of the IGP certified Piedmont hazelnut. We will discover that this delicious food is also a true ally in the increasingly contemporary battle for sustainability. After having discovered secrets, benefits and stories connected with their cultivation, we will all head to the hazelnut processing workshop, following the unmistakable fragrance. Here, we will teach you how to make an irresistible recipe: your first cocoa and hazelnut cream of Monferrato! With your hands in the hazelnut dough, we will add a little sugar and cocoa and prepare the tastiest spread, to enjoy on warm bread, in homemade desserts or directly… from the biggest spoon! Following the short and simple preparation, you will prepare your jar, decorate your label, and find a name for your delicious creation, ready to take home!

Cooking course with our “Cesarina” lunch or dinner with local wines water and coffee + experience create your hazelnut cream
