Day 1

Arrive in the early afternoon by own means in Vicoforte and meet the guide.
Vicoforte and its Sanctuary with the world's largest elliptical dome.. and more.

Charles Emmanuel I, Duke of Savoy, was the artifice of this Baroque masterpiece: pictorial decorations, but also precious marbles, almost all from the quarries of Monregalese.
The Duke had himself interred here when he died in 1630... will we discover these wonders of our territory together?
Possibility to experience a one-off event... "Magnificat.."

"Magnificat" offers the public a unique experience which allows to become familiar with the extraordinary events from the inside, which, from the early 16th century and during the centuries have led to the construction of the building, monument of exceptional artistic and architectural value, important place of faith and pilgrimage destination. Equipped with protective helmet and harness, you can climb to and visit the dome of the Sanctuary, at 70 meters from the ground, and experience a one-off event of strong emotional impact.
Along a dedicated route made safe, which also involves areas which are never open to the public, the visitors will cross spiral staircases, ancient passageways reserved to the workers, panoramic views to the outside and picturesque views inside the magnificent painted vault.
Between walkways, buttresses and cornices, step after step, it will be possible to retrace the history of a centuries-old construction site, admire more than 6000m2 of fresco and discover the sophisticated technologies which allow for constant monitoring of the structural conditions of the building.
Followed by traditional local dinner in restaurant and overnight in hotel located in Villanova Mondovì.

Day 2

Breakfast in hotel and transfer to Mondovì, an appealing village between Medieval and Baroque.. and this is what you can experience as you walk in its oldest part: Piazza Maggiore.
Between palazzi of the past, but also modern Baroque architecture.
But the star of the day is the color "yellow", symbol of the town, which we find represented in the traditional pottery.
No visit to Mondovì is complete without a visit to the Pottery Museum*.
"The Pottery Museum is located in the the prestigious Palazzo Fauzone di Germagnano, in the Piazza neighborhood of Mondovì. The rooms face onto a magnificent view of the Medieval Piazza Maggiore, the plains of Cuneo and the Langhe and lovingly maintain their frescoes, stuccoes and furnishings from several centuries ago. The six exhibition rooms take account of the four large phases which have distinguished the history of pottery of Monregalese: visitors can see for themselves the development of the taste over the two centuries, capturing the same formula in the modern industry and mass production for consumption.


Possibility to reach Mondovì Piazza by cable car
Continue the walk and arrive at "Torre dei Bressani", a landmark of the town, with its somewhat strange and unique single-handed clock. All round, the Park of Belvedere, designed for the Floral Exhibition in 1903, offers a spectacular view of the area, and is also the seat of the Park of Time due to three horizontal clocks in stone.. ready to discover them together? Lunch at leisure.

In the afternoon, transfer to the area of Carrù to visit an Agricultural brewery and taste the craft beer produced using ingredients cultivated directly by the farm: hops and barley are grown respecting sustainability without the use of chemical substances and implementing crop rotation to naturally improve soil
fertility.

Traditional dinner in a restaurant in Carrù.
Return to hotel in Villanova Mondovì and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast, transfer by own means to Valcasotto, a small mountain village close to Pamparato.
A magical place in which to rediscover the value of silence and hospitality.

Here, through the constant care of master maturers, the mountain cheeses rest and mature at length on wooden boards allowing them to develop flavor and enrich
structure.
On arrival, we will visit the cheese maturation facilities and admire more than 15,000 cheese wheels.
For lunch....a delicious first course and cheese tasting at an inn!


In the afternoon, transfer to Montaldo Torinese
Along the way, possibility to stop in Chieri to visit the Archive Museum (free admission but booking is required)
Arrive to historic residence, dinner at leisure and overnight.

Day 4

Morning dedicated to relaxation with access to wellness centre, a sensory spa route and a couples massage. Dinner at leisure.

In the afternoon, visit an agricultural brewery of the area. Taste the beers made with 100% Piedmontese ingredients and cultivated directly, during the summer season you could be capitulated into one of the musical events which our master brewers organize in the tap room. Piedmont beer and music, a
winning combination!
Don't forget to taste the bitter liqueur produced by the brewery using the hops.
Dinner at leisure and overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast, set off for Superga. Visit the Basilica, the highest church in Italy, magnificent Baroque monument conceived by Filippo Juvarra for the Royal House of Savoy. With the royal tombs and the spectacular landscape on the Alps it will leave you breathless. Possibility with booking and extra charge to climb to the scenic dome by means of the 18th century spiral staircase of (131 steps).
Free time to follow in Turin which can be reached by car with paid parking in the centre or by public transport with the picturesque Sassi-Superga tramway. Possibility to stay an extra night to further the discovery of Turin
